Blind Love

How often we have heard this phrase, “Love is blind”?

In a group ofΒ friends, we had a lot of jokes on this expression. Since many of the lads have never been in a relation, so when they see a decent guy with a girl who is beautiful, they say “Love is blind”. πŸ˜€

For me,
Love is blind, whenΒ we don’tΒ care how a person looks or how annoying they are, all we do is Love them unconditionally. πŸ™‚

Here is a small story I came across,
Few days back in aΒ cold foggy morning, I saw two people sitting next to each other outside the center court of theΒ coffee halt. They look just like some other girl and a boy on this planet. But there was one uncommon thing in those two people sitting together. They were constantly facing towards the bushes, with one hand together. πŸ™‚ They never faced each other.

The air floating around had some good content of water molecules which turned everyone’s breathe to fog. And just like a little kid, I was enjoying my winter smoking that way. πŸ˜› The place was quietΒ &Β I was lookingΒ in the same direction where those two people were looking at and waiting for my cup of coffee to come, all of a sudden I heard, “I Love You” from the boy. Within seconds I heard, “I too” from the girl. ❀ That brought a smile to me. πŸ™‚

Just then my coffee arrived and I was still smiling. Serving the coffee the server asked me, “What’s special sir?”. I replied, “Good to hear the word Love in this cold morning”. He saw me looking into that direction and replied, “They cannot see each other, they are blind. Sir” and he walked back to court.

I still had aΒ smile but with a thought onΒ what love really is! It is not looks, it is a feeling which you never had before. It is a feeling for one another.

On that very day, I realized the true meaning of “Love is blind”. πŸ™‚

  1. Nice story Ankit – do you make this stuff up all by yourself, because you’re uncommonly good at it. I feel I can learn a lot from you. It’s good to find someone with such a positive slant on life – keep it up. πŸ˜‰

Yes, The moments build these in my mind and at some point of time I realise that this can be typed. Ah! So nice of you to say.
I wonder, but yes anyone can learn anything from good or bad.
Thanks again. Have a good April. πŸ™‚

      1. Very true. They say we should learn from our mistakes, but I always thought it to be a better idea not to make mistakes in the first place. πŸ™‚
Hey – that sounds good – do you mind if I put it on my blog? πŸ˜€

      2. Ah! Sure, go ahead and put it as you like. 😊
Yea, you said it right. But they also say, how much we can learn on our mistakes, we cannot learn that much on our success. 😊

    1. It’s iPhone 5s the one which I use to snap out moments. Yet, few of the pictures are from Nokia Pureview and DSLr’s. (In hands of my friends and brother). πŸ˜‹

  2. It was tongue-in-cheek kind of sweet. Very nicely written. Sometimes these small gestures we see everyday and the small stories they hold within are what makes us understand the true meaning of life. Love is blind- true to the words – only if everyone perceived it in a similar way.

    1. πŸ™‚ It was really very sweet. Wasn’t just another two people sitting together. Little things that put our thought process to different plane.
Very right, but we all perceive differently.
      Thanks again, Sana. πŸ™‚

  3. Seeing the number of comments and likes don’t feel to add more simply πŸ‘but this is one relationship in whole world which is not blind may be the beginning but later every body does autopsy .

You are right. We cannot help what everybody is gonna do. But we need to show and be respectful to whatever kind of relationships couples have got into.

  4. Hi Ankit, I somehow reached this post while reading all the posts, and this is so touching. Would you mind if I borrowed this idea of yours to write a piece of my own? This is a very emotional write-up.
