I was told

A girl..

Once told me
to be careful
when trying to fix
a broken person.

For you may cut yourself
on their shattered pieces.

      1. 🙂 Sometimes what you’re feeling is penned down by someone who has felt the same. 🙂
It’s similar when you listen to a song and its lyric is like the present scenario of your life! 😉

  1. I once wrote a poem that contained the line, “My heart is only sharp because it’s broken–but careful you don’t cut yourself on the pieces” (rough quote, it was a long time ago)… good advice, but sometimes, even a broken object shines brighter than a fresh new one. Sometimes, someone just *will* reach for you, no matter how obvious and rough your edges.

I liked your poem, though 🙂

    1. Hi Amanda,
That’s really beautiful.. It will be great to read the whole poem.
Yes, the broken object shines but sometimes its glare makes us blind in front of the reality!
      Thank you!
      Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

      1. I wish I knew where it was! I have about half a dozen bags/boxes full of scribbles, going back a good 13 years or so… maybe I can find it 🙂

I’m enjoying your blog. I’m sure I’ll keep hanging around.
